If you've got the time, I'll tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful couple that everybody adored. The woman was the most beautiful in the village (or so we hear), and the man the most noble. Unfortunately, that is bound to attract jealousy. And they were killed by... a certain man, their just-born child left abandoned in a far-away land. Luckily for the baby, he was found by a wanderer who gave him to the orphanage. And he was not quite beautiful and not quite noble, but he was the smartest boy ever to be born in the kingdom (or so they thought). His name? It's not important. No, not really. And one day, a man named Watari found the boy and brought him to a special home for geniuses. He worked long and hard to be the smartest, but his friend B - well, B was just a bit more intelligent. But L (noble L whom all the children wanted to be) picked A (did I mention he took on the name A when he came to the special home?) to be his successor. A, and not B! B was angry, just like the man who was angry at A's parents. So B killed A's mind. And A took his own body. That's the tale of A. And they all lived happily ever - oh wait but they don't. |
